School Occupational Therapist (OT) Contract Position

Job Description:

Soliant and its affiliates are currently seeking a passionate and experienced School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students within the school district, helping them develop the skills they need to participate fully in their educational experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services, as well as consultation and training to teachers, parents, and other school staff.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support students' academic and functional success.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and student progress.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least one year of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric development and evidence-based practice in occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality services to students.
