Location: Near Palatine, IL

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team near Palatine, Illinois, for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This position is onsite and will run from June 12th to June 30th. The schedule will be on Tuesdays through Thursdays, with approximately 14 hours per week (845 minutes). The specific hours are from 8:45 am to 11:30 am, but there is flexibility in terms of days and hours worked. The caseload will encompass students from Early Childhood to 6th grade.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' sensory, motor, and cognitive abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student progress and integration into the classroom.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Illinois license to practice Occupational Therapy.
• Strong understanding of child development and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
