Intro:

Established healthcare organization has an immediate opening for an Oncology Pharmacist. This position is located in the Bay Area of California. Qualified candidates must have 2+ years oncology experience and current inpatient hospital experience. Must be experienced with chemo admixture, consultation with oncologists, etc.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for :

  • Furnishing medications, supplies and drug information in a timely manner
  • Maintain JCAHO compliance and other regulatory standards.
  • Monitor drug therapy for inpatient care
  • Discuss potential problems with medical staff and document
  • Be familiar with hospital technology systems
  • Qualifications :

  • Must have active and clear California Pharmacy license
  • Must have 2+ years recent hospital inpatient care, w/extensive oncology experience
  • Preferred PharmD license
  • Preferred residency experience, PGYI a plus
  • IV Compounding, admixture experience
  • Full Time availability, and ability to travel
  • Ability to work and be committed to hospital needs
  • Employment Type : Contract, Travel
