Title: Retail Pharmacist
Location: Frederick, MD
Duration: Ongoing/Per Diem 
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Variable Days/Evenings; 10:00am – 2:00pm, 9:00am – 8:30pm, 9:00pm, 5:30pm
Pay Rate: $50-$55/hr
Duties: 

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to manage inventory, including monitoring weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and enhance profitability.
• Weigh, measure, and mix drugs and medical compounds, ensuring accurate quantities and compositions, and fill prescription bottles.
• Provide guidance to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications as needed.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare and insurance professionals.
• Administer patient immunizations on a regular basis.
• Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, including scheduling pharmacy associates, recognizing, and rewarding performance, implementing disciplinary actions when necessary, and assigning work tasks to optimize skills and achieve company profit goals.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland Pharmacist License (Required)
• Immediate Availability (Required)
• 2+ years of previous/current Retail experience (Preferred)
