Apply NowSoliant is seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Tinley Park, IL. This role involves assessing and treating students with speech, language, and communication challenges to help them succeed in their academic and social lives. As an SLP, you’ll work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff to implement individualized therapy plans that address each student's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide targeted therapy to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student growth
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to set and review student goals
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Licensure: Valid Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience: Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills; flexibility in adapting therapy approaches to meet student needs
