Onsite School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Tennessee 

Job Summary: 
We are seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our onsite team at our school in Tennessee. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing speech language therapy to students in grades K-12 with a range of speech and language capable disorders. You will work closely with families, teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create atmospheres of improved communication, stronger relationships, and increased inclusion within the school environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and provide speech therapy to students with various speech and language disorders while following guidelines and best practices of the profession
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other staff to create meaningful therapy sessions 
• Develop communication goals and strategies to improve outcomes 
• Monitor the progress of students, track and document information, and communicate this information to families, staff and other professionals 
• Provide consultative services to teachers and other instructional staff 
• Implement research-based instruction/ intervention strategies to improve outcomes 
• Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and create reports 
• Assist in student evaluations for eligibility of speech services and follow up on re-evaluations 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 
• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Tennessee 
• Previous experience working with elementary and/or secondary school populations 
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others 
• Strong analytic skills and problem-solving skills 
• Proficient computer skills
