Open Position for Physical Therapist in School District in Drexel Hill, PA

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at a school in Drexel Hill, PA. As a Physical Therapist in our school setting, you will play a critical role in helping students with physical disabilities, injuries, or illnesses to develop, recover, and improve their movement, strength, and range of motion.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students with physical disabilities, injuries, or illnesses and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy sessions to students individually or in groups, as needed, to improve their functional abilities and promote independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective strategies to support students' physical needs and academic progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information.
• Participate in school-wide activities and events to promote physical health and wellness among students and staff.

Job Details:

• Part-time caseload: 3 days per week
• 2023-2024 school year
• Onsite 

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Pennsylvania state license to practice physical therapy.
