Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team in Columbus, OH. This position is pivotal in providing safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room with the necessary equipment and sterile supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating their needs and providing instruments promptly.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients and their families.
• Accurately document patient care and surgical details in medical records.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort and safety during surgical procedures.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (or eligibility for licensure).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS required; CNOR certification preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as an OR nurse.
• Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
