OR Tech for Amarillo Texas

Responsible for preparing the surgical suite according to age specific, medical condition and surgeon preference. Perform appropriate sponge, sharp and instrument counts according to hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrate competency to aseptic surgical equipment.

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Must have a certificate of completion from Surgical Technologist program or military training program and maintain. Must have and maintain current BLS certification, according to unit specific needs. Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider’s Program

MUST BE CERTIFIED

MUST LIVE MORE THAN 100 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.

Details: 
- 13 week assignment
- Shift: Days - 5x8's or 4x10's 

Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS, 
- 2+ years of experience
