**Caseload/Details:**
- The OT will be placed within the general education setting of D214 at Hersey High School.
- Working with students in the CLS program (comprehensive needs, multiple disabilities, daily living skills, job coaching, etc.).
  
**Number of Positions:** 1

**Description:**
Join our team at Northwest Suburban Sp Ed Org, where we are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work with students in the CLS program at Hersey High School in Mount Prospect, IL. This is a contract position starting on May 1, 2024, and ending on June 5, 2024, with a commitment of 32 hours per week.

**Responsibilities:**
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with comprehensive needs and multiple disabilities.
- Assist students in developing daily living skills and job coaching.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and other related activities as needed.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois.
- Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
