Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) near Gurnee School District

Location: Near Gurnee, IL

Type: Full-Time

Assignment Duration: ASAP - May 25, 2024

Days per Week: 5 days a week

Hours: Full-Time (37.7 hours per week)

Work Settings: Multiple Buildings (K-12)

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students' motor and sensory needs.
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address students' specific needs.
• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students' success.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• For Occupational Therapist (OT): Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and Illinois state licensure as an OT.
• For Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA): Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting and Illinois state licensure as an OTA.
• Experience working with students in K-12 school settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
