Paraprofessional Opening – Belleville, MI

We have a school district in the need of a Parapro with a full-time position available.  These are onsite positions and interviewing ASAP, so please contact quickly with updated resume.  Here are some specific details about the available jobs:

• Full-time/ 35 hours per week
• ASAP – 6/16/23
• 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Approximately)
• Caseloads (Two Options):
  • Kindergarten 1:1 (behavioral redirection, academic support, sensory support)
  • First Grade 1:1 (behavioral redirection, academic support, sensory support)
  • One month into the school year there is a re-eval of the student’s behaviors and needs, then three months in again, and periodically after.
• Required Credentials/ Non-Negotiable:
  • Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or providing behavioral support is required
  • Unofficial transcripts with a minimum of 60 semester hours; or
  • Valid MI Teaching Certificate; or ETS Parapro Assessment - A passing score (460) is required/ College Board SAT Evidence based reading and writing (480)/ Mathematics (530) on or after 3/5/16
  • Discontinued Para Tests and Dates Title 1 Paraprofessional Requirements
