Location: South Bend, Indiana

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team in South Bend,Indiana. The Paraprofessional will work with students with diverse learning needs in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students under the direction of the classroom teacher
• Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide assistance with classroom management and behavior interventions
• Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
• Provide support during transitions, lunch, and recess periods
• Collect data on student progress towards goals
• Communicate with parents and caregivers about student progress

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow direction and work independently
• Must be able to pass a background check
