Paraprofessional needed ASAP- Toledo, Ohio

Location: Toledo, Ohio

Salary: $18-$22 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to support student learning and success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom management and instruction
• Work with students in small groups or one-on-one settings to provide academic and behavioral support
• Monitor and document student progress
• Implement and reinforce positive behavior interventions and supports
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers and counselors, to support student needs
• Communicate with parents and caregivers about student progress and needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
• Experience working with children and/or in an educational setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide academic and/or behavioral support to students
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
