Job Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering instruction and managing the classroom environment.
• Student Assistance: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, addressing their unique learning needs.
• Behavioral Support: Help maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Resource Management: Assist in the preparation and organization of instructional materials.
• Data Entry: Record and maintain student performance data, as needed.
• Supervision: Assist with lunchtime, recess, and other non-instructional activities.
• Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Collaborate with special education staff to implement IEP goals.

Requirements:

• Para Certification (REQUIRED): Candidates must possess a Para certification.
• Flexibility: We are seeking candidates who are open and flexible in their approach to supporting students and educators.
• Quick Learner: Adapt to new situations and learn on the job.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, especially in collaborating with teachers and special education staff.
