Job Description:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with diverse needs? We have multiple openings in our Autism self-contained program for dedicated Paraprofessionals to join our team. This is a contract position in the vibrant educational landscape of Arizona.

Responsibilities:

• Support for Diverse Needs: Work closely with students in the Autism self-contained program, providing one-on-one or group assistance as needed.

• Instructional Assistance: Collaborate with teachers to implement educational plans, assist with classroom activities, and ensure the educational progress of students.

• Behavioral Support: Help manage and reinforce positive behavior strategies, contributing to a conducive learning environment.

• Personalized Care: Attend to the individual needs of students, offering support with daily tasks and activities as required.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and achievements as directed by the teaching team.

• Assistive Technology: Familiarize yourself with and support students in utilizing assistive technology tools.

Qualifications:

• A genuine passion for working with students with Autism and other diverse needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant coursework or experience in education or a related field preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to the success of students.

• Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with a team of educators.

• Experience with special education and/or Autism programs is a plus.
