Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team in Rhode Island (RI). This is a full-time contract position providing one-on-one support to a high school student. The successful candidate must be comfortable assisting with toileting needs and should be available during the specified hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a high school student.
• Assist with toileting and other personal care tasks as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement individualized education plans.
• Support the student in their academic and social development.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with students with special needs is a plus.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
