Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with teachers and students to support educational and developmental needs. This is a vital role that contributes to the overall success of our students and school community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with the implementation of lesson plans and curriculum.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt materials and activities for individual student needs.
- Support students with disabilities, including but not limited to, physical, behavioral, or learning disabilities.
- Monitor and record student progress and behavior.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of instructional materials and resources.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher is a plus).
- Paraprofessional certification or willingness to obtain certification (if required by the state). PEL, LBS1 or Sub License
- Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to diverse learning environments.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
