Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Part-time School Nurse to join our team for a position in the Tahoma School District located in Maple Valley, WA. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of students in a 1-1 setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to an assigned student on a 1-1 basis
• Administer medication and treatments according to the student's healthcare plan
• Monitor the student's health condition and respond to any emergent situations
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement the student's individual healthcare plan
• Provide health education and training to staff, students, and parents as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing services provided
• Adhere to school district policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to school nursing

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington
• Experience working as a school nurse or in a pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric health conditions, medications, and treatments
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
