Occupational Therapist (OT) - Part-Time Position

Location: Bessemer, AL

In partnership with the Bessemer School District, we are actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time position during the 2023-2024 school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' sensory, motor, and self-care skills.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and functional progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Alabama state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
