A Soliant partner in the area of Northfield, IL, is interviewing School Psychologists for a part-time contract position.

- 2 days a week
- Hours: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Work with elementary school students
- Start: ASAP
- End: end of school year
This is a small education community located in the north suburbs of Chicago.
As a school psychologist, day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting individual psychological evaluations, interpreting findings and making recommendations for a meaningful educational experience for each child.
- Counseling and providing psychological remedial measures for students, individually or in groups.
- Educating parents and staff on psycho-educational interventions.
- Consulting with teachers and other school personnel in relation to behavior management and learning problems.
- Determining student’s ability to learn and suggesting instructional strategies and techniques.
- Communicating information clearly and concisely in multidisciplinary conferences.
- Maintaining accurate and organized evaluation records.
To provide psychology services in Illinois schools, applicants would need to have the School Psychologist Professional Educator License, issued by the Illinois State Board of Education. If you are an out-of-state applicant, Soliant can provide guidance and support in the licensure process.
