Part-time School Psychologist (Tonganoxie, KS)

One of Soliant's clients, located in a Kansas City KS suburb, is interviewing part-time School Psychologists for the upcoming school year. 

Details of this position below:

• 2018-2019
• 3 days per week
• Work with elementary and middle schools students

We seek motivated applicants with excellent clinical skills, and who are invested in attaining educational goals.

As a school psychologist, day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conducting individual psychological evaluations, interpreting findings and making recommendations for a meaningful educational experience for each child.
2. Counseling and providing psychological remedial measures for students, individually or in groups.
3. Educating parents and staff on psycho-educational interventions.
4. Consulting with teachers and other school personnel in relation to behavior management and learning problems.
5. Establishing efficient communications with directors, principals, teachers, parents, students, appropriate personnel, and community agencies to improve the quality of service.
6. Determining student’s ability to learn and suggesting instructional strategies and techniques.
7. Communicating information clearly and concisely in multidisciplinary conferences.
8. Maintaining accurate and organized evaluation records.

Applicants will need a school psychologist credential issued by the Department of Education in order to practice in public schools.
