Job Description:
Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in the Tulsa, Arkansas area. This part-time position (.5 FTE) offers an exciting opportunity to work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting evaluations, observations, and participating in IEP meetings to support the educational and emotional well-being of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Conduct classroom observations to gather information on student behavior and learning styles.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide recommendations and strategies to support student success.
- Support and participate in IEP meetings to ensure students receive appropriate services and accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Arkansas School Psychologist certification or eligibility.
- Experience in conducting evaluations and observations in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and a diverse team of educators.
