Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
Location: Stratford, CT
Position: Part-Time (3 days minimum) - Open to Full-Time Candidates
Start Date: ASAP – End of School Year (with potential for ESY and NSY opportunities)
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Stratford, CT, for a part-time position (minimum 3 days per week). We are open to full-time candidates as well. The position is available immediately and will run through the end of the school year, with the possibility of extending into the Extended School Year and the upcoming school year.
As an SLP-CCC, you will work across elementary school locations to assess and treat students with speech and language disorders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing individualized therapy, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans to meet each child’s needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments for elementary school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Deliver therapy services in group or individual settings, as appropriate
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on assessment data
- Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding speech and language needs
- Opportunity for additional work during the Extended School Year (ESY) and the following school year (NSY)
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification (SLP-CCC)
- Current CT State Licensure
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Schedule:
- Part-time: Minimum 3 days per week (with potential for more hours)
