Soliant is partnering with a local school district to fill a part-time SLP position for the summer months, providing you with a great way to pick up some hours during the break between school years. Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to integrate therapy goals into the students' educational program
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records
• Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Illinois state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting is desired, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and therapy techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
