Job Description: Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Woodstown, NJ. This is a part-time contract position for the remainder of the academic year. As an SLP, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students within a school setting, helping them to overcome communication disorders and achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' overall development.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Alabama.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
