Position: CVOR Tech Location: Houston, Texas

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Set up and maintain sterile fields
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed
• Ensure all equipment is properly functioning and ready for use
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist in maintaining a safe and efficient environment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information

Requirements:

• Certification as a CVOR Tech
• Previous experience in a cardiovascular operating room
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• BLS certification
