Perm Dosimetrist job in Houston

Our Client in Houston is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. Houston is a great place to travel to because it is a vibrant and diverse city with plenty to do and explore. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for providing radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer and other medical conditions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or related field.
• Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dosimetrist in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in treatment planning software (such as Eclipse, Pinnacle, or Ray Station) and imaging systems (such as CT, MRI, or PET).
• Strong knowledge of radiation therapy principles, treatment techniques, and dose calculation algorithms.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and educate patients about treatment procedures.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in treatment planning.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and workflows in a fast-paced environment.
