Cardiac Cath Lab - Recovery

Virginia Hospital Looking for Cath Lab Technologist 

  • The Cardiac Cath Lab treats patients requiring Interventional (PTCA/STENT/ROTOBLATOR/IVUS/LASER),
  • Peripheral , IABP, TEE, Cardioversion, Electrophysiology Study, Tilt
  • Table Study, Ablations, Mapping, Pacemaker and ICD
  • Implantations, as well as Sheath removal.

Bronchoscopy and Dobutamine Stress tests are performed in the Heart Station.

  • RN Licensure with Reciprocity in the state of Virginia
  • BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR
  • American Heart Association ACLS Certification 
  • Critical Care experience required

Job Details: 

Shift Times/Schedule: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Call: 2-3 call shifts required per week with 2 call weekends in a 6 week period.
Duration: 13-weeks

CERT/LICENSURE REQUIRED:
-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certificate and/or ARRT required.
-BLS
-ACLS

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Able to scrub left and right heart Cath/PCIs, peripherals, IABP, Temp wires, Impella

  • Preferred Years of Experience: 2

  • Additional information about the unit/facility: We have 4 cath labs, average 15-20 cases per day consisting of Left/Right heart caths, peripherals, EP studies/ablations, PPM implants, and structural heart.
  •  
  • EPIC Class: CUPID (CATH LAB)

  • Maintains safe working environment and patient safety by complying with hospital policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and technical skills to perform all duties required to care for patients.
