Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for a facility near St. Louis, MO. As the pharmacy manager, you will oversee the operations of the pharmacy department, including PIC responsibilities and staffing coordination. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8 am - 4:30 pm, with no weekend shifts. On-call responsibilities will be shared among the pharmacy manager and two PRN pharmacists.

Responsibilities:
- Assume the role of Pharmacist In Charge, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, including staffing and scheduling.
- Provide supervision and guidance to a team consisting of two PRN pharmacists, one full-time technician, and one PRN technician.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication safety and patient care.
- Utilize the pharmacy information system, WellSky, and the automation system, Pyxis.
- Maintain inventory control and manage medication procurement processes.
- Perform IV compounding, ensuring accuracy and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance pharmacy services.
- Coordinate and ensure remote pharmacy services coverage during after-hours.

Requirements:
- Active Missouri pharmacist license in good standing.
- Prior experience as a Pharmacist In Charge or in a leadership role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems and automation technology.
- IV compounding experience is required; chemo experience is not necessary.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
