Clinical Pharmacist Job at Community Hospital in the Pomona CA area.
Looking for an ASAP start

Position:
Clinical Pharmacist

Schedule:
Variable days/afternoon rotation.  8 hour shifts.
(1st shift starts at 6 am; 2nd shift starts at 2:00 pm).  
Every third weekend.
 

Setting:
Acute Care.  This hospital is part of large integrated healthcare system.

Technology:
Meditech, Pyxis

Duties:

• Order verification, making recommendations for clinical interventions
• Pharmacokinetic dosing; making dosage adjustments based on lab values.
• Consulting with physicians and nurses on medication therapies
• Oversight of support staff
• Role will be split between central pharmacy and satellite pharmacies
• Attending Codes
• Rounding with physicans and nurses.
• Other duties as required
