A clinical pharmacist position is available for a contract opportunity starting on February 14th. This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on order verifications, supervising pharmacy technicians, and managing pharmacokinetics. The assignment offers a 13-week duration with the possibility of extension.
Location: Crookston, NE with travel to Valentine, NE.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Conduct pharmacokinetic consultations and dose adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient medication therapy
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed pharmacist with clinical pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations
- Ability to supervise and mentor pharmacy staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with pharmacokinetics preferred
