Clinical Pharmacist in Kilgore, NE

An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This contract role requires expertise in order verifications, supervising pharmacy technicians, and managing pharmacokinetics—all critical to delivering safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Applying knowledge of pharmacokinetics for optimized medication dosing and monitoring
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to support clinical pharmacy services
• Maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, particularly in inpatient settings
• Strong skills in medication order verification and clinical decision-making
• Ability to oversee and lead pharmacy technician staff effectively

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts
• Based in Kilgore, NE (travel expected to Valentine, NE)
• Contract assignment to start February 14, lasting 13 weeks or longer
