An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This contract role requires expertise in order verifications, supervising pharmacy technicians, and managing pharmacokinetics—all critical to delivering safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervising and supporting pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
- Applying knowledge of pharmacokinetics for optimized medication dosing and monitoring
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to support clinical pharmacy services
- Maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, particularly in inpatient settings
- Strong skills in medication order verification and clinical decision-making
- Ability to oversee and lead pharmacy technician staff effectively
- Knowledge of pharmacokinetics principles and their application in patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, day shifts
- Based in Kilgore, NE (travel expected to Valentine, NE)
- Contract assignment to start February 14, lasting 13 weeks or longer
