This opportunity seeks a skilled Clinical Pharmacist licensed in California, with hospital pharmacy experience, to support a 250-bed hospital facility. The role involves working within a dynamic healthcare environment utilizing Meditech and Pyxis systems, delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services to patients and healthcare teams.

Location: Watsonville, CA

Type: Contract, 13 weeks with potential for extension
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, variable days and afternoon hours

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management and patient counseling
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication use and patient outcomes
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication dispensing and record-keeping
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in pharmacy-related quality assurance activities

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience
• Ability to work full-time following a four 10-hour shift schedule, including variable days and afternoons
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive approach to patient care
