Pharmacist | Greensboro, North Carolina

A pharmacy opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist specializing in compounding, offering a 13-week contract-to-hire position based in Greensboro, NC. This role focuses on preparing and dispensing compounded prescriptions, both sterile and non-sterile, while collaborating closely with healthcare providers to meet patient-specific needs.

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Includes a 30-minute lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense compounded medications accurately and safely
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records while managing inventory levels
• Provide pharmaceutical expertise and counsel to patients to promote optimal health outcomes
• Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technician staff to enhance team performance

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a passion for compounding are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
• Experience with pharmacy software similar to QS1; training on PK software will be provided
