Pharmacist - Oakland, California

• Accurately dispense prescription medications following required protocols

• Manage medication inventory and Omnicell fills efficiently to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Counsel patients on drug regimens, potential side effects, and proper medication usage
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid state pharmacist license and current registration
• Solid experience as a pharmacist with strong knowledge of prescription drug handling
• Familiarity with Omnicell automated dispensing systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and patient-focused mindset

Schedule / Hours:

• Primarily day shifts with 5 eight-hour days per week
• Contract position with ASAP start
