A per diem opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support long-term care pharmacy services in the Phoenix, AZ area. This role offers flexible hours and the chance to apply your expertise in prescription fulfillment and order management within a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill 50-100 prescriptions daily, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Receive and process medication orders efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize patient care
Schedule:
- 4 to 5 hours per day
- Flexible start times between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, accommodating either 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM shifts
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Pharmacist license
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle a high prescription volume
- Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance
