Per Diem Pharmacist - Visalia, California

A pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist in the Visalia, CA area on a per diem basis. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications and ensuring customers receive accurate information about their use, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service in a retail or long-term care setting.

Location: Visalia, CA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours each day)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications prescribed by healthcare providers
• Provide detailed information to patients regarding medication use, side effects, and interactions
• Maintain a high standard of customer service to enhance patient care

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients
