Retail Immunizing Pharmacist | Weed, California

A full-time Pharmacist position is available on a contract-to-hire basis, with a potential for direct hire for the right candidate. This role requires expertise in retail pharmacy operations, immunization administration, and strong patient care skills. The pharmacy team is busy, staffed with three pharmacists during weekdays and supported by 2-3 pharmacy technicians per shift, ensuring smooth workflow and effective collaboration.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide immunization services per state regulations.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems proficiently, specifically ERx.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license in California.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience, including immunization delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with pharmacy technology systems.
