Inpatient Supervising Pharmacist - Aurora, Illinois

This direct hire opportunity seeks experienced Pharmacy Managers with expertise in hospital inpatient and outpatient oncology/hematology pharmacy services. The position is based in Aurora, IL, and focuses on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care in an outpatient oncology/hematology setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations within the oncology/hematology outpatient department to ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards
• Manage medication dispensing, verify prescriptions, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient treatment plans
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring quality patient care and efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate records, inventory management, and support quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager with knowledge of hospital inpatient and outpatient pharmacy practices
• Expertise in oncology and hematology pharmacy operations is a strong plus
• Licensed pharmacist or eligible to apply for Illinois pharmacy licensure
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care

Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours in an outpatient setting
