Retail Supervising Pharmacist | Burnham, Pennsylvania

A full-time Pharmacy Manager role is available at a retail pharmacy location in Burnham, PA. This direct hire position offers the opportunity to lead pharmacy operations while collaborating closely with store teams to deliver excellent customer service and drive business growth. The schedule includes variable day and afternoon shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong working relationships with store operations and pharmacy associates, communicating department and company strategies effectively.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
• Manage the pharmacy department to build profitability and increase prescription growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Partner with pharmacy management to control inventories, track sales, and order pharmaceuticals to meet customer demand.
• Align performance objectives with key department metrics to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing medical-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, managing training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain security protocols for the pharmacy department.
• Handle and resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
• Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription questions.
• Oversee department cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor employee training and development to boost performance, decrease turnover, and manage labor costs.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call processing in a timely manner.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
