This opportunity offers a pivotal leadership role within a well-established retail grocery pharmacy setting. The position involves managing all aspects of pharmacy operations to ensure excellent service, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage pharmacy operations while performing all pharmacist duties
- Supervise, coach, and schedule pharmacists, technicians, and interns
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies, including HIPAA and controlled substance regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and regulatory inspections
- Oversee pharmacy inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, returns, and controlled drug monitoring
- Review and accurately fill prescriptions in accordance with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Valid Utah pharmacist license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail or community pharmacy; prior management experience is preferred
- Certified to provide immunizations and CPR certified
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Location: Tremonton, UT
