Per Diem Certified Pharmacy Technician in Bloomfield, IA

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support daily operations at a healthcare pharmacy location. This per diem position requires a licensed Iowa Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with recent pharmacy technician experience to ensure efficient and accurate medication dispensing and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications according to prescriptions
• Manage inventory and restock pharmacy shelves as needed
• Accurately process prescription orders and handle Rx documentation
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to patients and healthcare staff
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Use pharmacy software systems to verify prescriptions and update records

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT) required
• Recent hands-on experience as a pharmacy technician
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with pharmacists, patients, and other healthcare professionals

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8.5 hours)
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8 hours)
