Pharmacy Tech | Indianapolis, Indiana

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy environment. This 26-week assignment is designed with the intent for direct hire, providing a pathway to long-term employment.

This position operates Monday through Friday, 2nd shift (12:30pm – 9pm), with occasional weekend shifts as needed. Candidates will begin on the day shift (8:00am – 5:00pm) and transition to the evening shift once evening pharmacists are established. Reliability and adaptability are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process high-volume pharmacy orders in mail order and specialty pharmacy settings
• Verify prescription information and prepare medications for shipment
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication dispensing
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements
• Support workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care quality

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant experience as a pharmacy technician
• Experience working in either high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy environments
• Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license is required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to reliability
• Ability to adapt to shift changes and occasional weekend coverage
