Home Infusion IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Huntington Station, NY

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Infusion Pharmacy Technician experienced in home infusion settings. Location: Huntington Station, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile infusion medications in compliance with established protocols
• Manage and maintain infusion supplies and equipment accurately
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure timely medication delivery
• Monitor and document medication inventory to support the infusion process
• Maintain stringent aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and concerns related to infusion therapy

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with IV certification
• Proven experience in home infusion pharmacy settings (hospital IV experience alone is insufficient)
• Strong understanding of sterile compounding and infusion preparation procedures
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
