An experienced Infusion Pharmacy Technician position is available for a specialized pharmacy setting focused on home infusion services. This role emphasizes working within a high-volume infusion pharmacy environment, requiring specific expertise beyond traditional hospital IV preparation.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Position Type:

• Contract to hire, with an initial 13-week contract and potential for permanent placement.
• Immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense infusion medications in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Manage home infusion prescriptions and ensure accurate compounding tailored to patient-specific needs.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to maintain seamless infusion therapy operations.
• Maintain documentation and inventory related to infusion pharmacy processes.
• Ensure all practices align with protocols unique to a specialty infusion pharmacy environment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Infusion Pharmacy Technician, specifically within a home infusion or specialty infusion pharmacy setting.
• IV certification required.
• Strong knowledge of infusion pharmacy workflows, distinct from hospital-based IV mixing.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams.
