A local, full-time Pharmacy Technician position is available in Plano, TX, supporting an integrated pharmacy within a behavioral health hospital setting. This closed-door pharmacy operates separately from the clinic but maintains a contractual relationship with it, specializing exclusively in dispensing behavioral health medications. The role involves handling a script count of 350 to 400 prescriptions per day, requiring efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense behavioral health medications
• Utilize Enterprise RX software (training provided)
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy and clinic staff to ensure seamless service
• Manage high prescription volume while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy technician experience; 2 years preferred
• Prior retail pharmacy experience highly valued
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced pharmacy setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
