Retail LTC Pharmacy Tech - Pickerington, Ohio

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for an experienced professional to provide support in a busy independent retail pharmacy environment. This full-time position requires a dedicated technician to step in promptly due to unforeseen staff absence, covering an approximately 8-week contract period. The role is located in Pickerington, OH, roughly one hour south of Columbus.

Schedule and Workload:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Daily prescription volume of approximately 130 scripts
• Collaborative work alongside one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and fulfill prescription orders
• Verify prescription details to ensure safety and compliance
• Manage phone communication with professionalism and efficiency
• Support pharmacy operations to maintain workflow and patient care standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Ohio pharmacy technician license preferred
• Background in retail pharmacy or similar settings strongly valued
• Familiarity with PioneerRX system is advantageous but not mandatory
• Open to local candidates or traveling pharmacy technicians able to relocate temporarily
