A direct hire opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists interested in long-term care pharmacy. This role is designed for pharmacists who thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting, offering the chance to contribute to a growing organization with multiple pharmacy locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient verification (PV1 and PV2) duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Prepare intravenous medications and total parenteral nutrition (TPNs) in an on-site cleanroom environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy management.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support pharmacy operations.

Desired Experience:

  • Prior long-term care pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
  • Retail pharmacists with strong medication therapy management (MTM) skills are also considered.
  • Ability to quickly advance in patient verification processes (PV1).
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, preferably Frameworks.
  • Licensed pharmacists in Wisconsin; temporary ACT-10 license holders may be considered if able to obtain a permanent WI license within 90 days.

Location: This position is based in the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area, part of a closed-door long-term care pharmacy network that offers ample opportunities for professional growth.

Schedule:

  • Day shifts, Monday through Saturday
  • 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week with on-call rotation
