Pharmacist in Chadron, NE

Seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment beginning mid-August in Chadron, NE. This role involves working day shifts in a well-established pharmacy environment that operates from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Saturdays, with Sundays off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Consult with physicians to optimize patient medication therapy
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to individualize patient care
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for daily operations

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with relevant pharmacy experience
• Proficient in RX-related duties and staff pharmacist responsibilities
• Experience with Cerner and Omnicell preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Schedule:

• Weekday day shifts within pharmacy operating hours
• Saturday day shifts following pharmacy schedule
• Sundays off
